  • Clark Murphy at Crockett Elementary School and other students from 14 area elementary and middle schools put their entrepreneurship and banking skills into practice on Dec. 7, at Frost Bank’s Kids’ Day marketplace. The children, who participate in the Harris County Department of Education’s (HCDE) Cooperative for After-School Enrichment programs, hawked backpack ornaments, wacky hair bows, dog tags, pillows, and bowling booths to customers through live "commercials" that they performed and choreographed themselves. They also opened bank accounts and made profit-and-loss projections while selling their homemade wares.<br />
