Hannah Martin, a seventh-grader at Johnston Middle School, won a silver medal for her submission in the School Days art contest sponsored by the Texas Renaissance Festival last fall. Her artwork,titled "Texas Unicorn," placed second out of 339 entries received from students across the state. It will be auctioned off to benefit Texas Children’s Hospital.
