For the third consecutive year, female students at Patterson Elementary participated in the Girls on the Run 5K. Sponsored by teachers on campus, 20 students in third through fifth grades joined 500 girls from all over Houston at Cy-Fair’s Bear Creek Park to finish the race. Girls on the Run is a national association that educates female students in the areas of health and self esteem.
