Houston ISD elementary teachers participate in the Baylor Science Institute at Herod Elementary School, July 24, 2014. The focus of the institute is to strengthen teachers’ science content knowledge, as well as provide participants with effective teaching strategies that lead to deeper student understanding of science content.
