Jordan High School for Careers staged its 16th annual citywide hair competition on Jan. 7, 2013.

This event is one of the largest of its kind in Houston, and aspiring cosmetologists from all over HISD—as well as Beaumont, Klein, Magnolia, and Spring and many other ISDs—competed to see whose cuts were king.

Students could submit entries in any of three categories: daytime, nighttime, and fantasy (pictured). Representatives from Super Cuts and Visible Changes acted as judges.

Jordan students won at least one prize in every category.
